- Coordination of Civil Engineer, Environmental Site Assessment, Surveyor, Land Planner, Geotech, Traffic, and Legal during due diligence
- Project Manager functions for new construction
Asset Management
- Direct asset management functions upon acquisition or at construction start
- System rollouts including fully integrated cloud based property management platforms, BYOD mobile phone program, Petty Cash Credit Card System, company-wide upgrade of Microsoft Office, and internal ticketing system for IT support and Yardi support
- Teaming with JV partners on property-wide value add strategies
- Supervision of Asset Disposition valued at over $300,000,000 to date
Operations
- Created and led company-wide budget roll out, review, and roll up of a 43 property 10,300 unit portfolio
- Created a management platform and coordinated support team (3 regional managers, marketing director, software trainer) from the ground up for a group of 12 purpose-built student housing multi-family properties
- Directed a team of 6 Regional Managers, a Marketing team of 3, and a Regional Service Manager overseeing a portfolio of just over 10,000 units resulting in an increased NOI by 3.2MM or 9.5% YoY.
- Planned and successfully executed property level capital expense plans on time and on budget that included unit upgrades, fire sprinkler systems, asbestos abatement, major mechanical equipment replacement, roof replacements, interior build-outs, public area refurbishments, furniture and fixture replacement, and voice, data, and video installations in hi-rise, midrise, and garden assets
